Sagenitic quartz is a type of quartz that has needle-like inclusions of other minerals, such as rutile or goethite, within the crystal structure. These inclusions give the quartz a unique appearance and can sometimes be seen as silky or hazy patterns within the crystal. Sagenitic quartz is considered a natural variety of quartz, as the inclusions are formed naturally during the crystal’s growth process.
