Ashtadhatu is widely used for making Rings and Idols of Gods and Goddesses ,as it is auspicious in Hinduism.Ashtadhatu means an alloy of 8 Metals ,i.e.  Gold, Silver, Copper, Zinc, Lead, Tin, Iron and Mercury.The eight metals are mixed in almost equal proportions. As per Indian Astrology to reduce the adverse effect of various planets different jewels are being used, same way to reduce the adverse effect of various planets different metals are being used.
Ashtadhatu Kada or Ring can be worn to serve the purpose.IMG_2753
