We all are using hand sanitizers in the current scenario, the pandemic.

However, as much as we need Sanitizers right now, does our jewelry? How does it reacts to constant use of Sanitizer???

Keeping safety a top priority, here’s a list of do’s to keep in mind –

Do–Use alcohol based Sanitizer. (60%)

Alcohol free Sanitizer may contain harsh chemicals, which can damage and tarnish your jewelry.

Do— Remove your rings aside before using hand sanitizer .

When metal comes in constant contact with chemicals, they can loose their shine, Gemstone like opals, pearls can loose their luster, prongs can get damaged and diamonds loosen too. So remove and keep your rings safely before using Sanitizer, wear them once hands are completely dried.
